Residents, enough is enough. We demand action!
This website has been put together by the local residents of Woolgrove road and the surrounding streets and roads.
It is intended to provide useful information for locals and to communicate any issues and progress we have collectively made.
The local residents are tired of the inaction by the local authorities and the Environemnt Agency to tackle the very obvious flooding danger that the are area is in.
We find ourselves in the position of trying to remedy decades of neglect. Cleaning and maintenance of drains, dredging and care for the river has been paid for many times over by residents through their taxes, but yet we have still suffered huge damage to our private properties, wildlife habitats destroyed and public land decimated.
We are actively working to hold the authorities to account, so that our area is repaired and maintained as it should be, and those who acted negligently understand that this will not be toletated any longer.
